Klamath River 2-4 day Expedition

Rumbling along the edge of the Marble Mountain Wilderness area , the Klamath River is an enchanted remote Class II-III water course steeped with legend and mystery. Home to the Karuk and Yurok people, the river remains much as it was before white man arrived one hundred-fifty years ago.

Pack lightly because this trip is designed expedition style. All our gear, food and personal items are packed on the gear boat as we take our journey down the river. Ask us about the option of inflatable kayaks so you may have the freedom of challenging rapids on your own terms. These small light boats allow you to set your own course.

 As we prepare our dinner, you can join us in the cooking, go for a walk, swim, visit, or kick back and let the world flow by. We prepare fresh local food cooked to perfection. After a night under the stars, wake up to a   fresh brewed pot of coffee.

Trinity River 2 Day Adventure

On our overnight trips, we navigate through class II - III+ sections that allow everyone to experience some true whitewater. Paddle boats are the order of the day with everyone pitching in to help maneuver the raft down the river. For the intrepid, an inflatable kayak can give you the freedom to meet the rapids on your own terms. Often Bald Eagles, turtles, otter, and osprey are observed during the trip. Choose between camping at our private riverside camp with an outdoor shower and toilet facilities or rafting expedition style with a gear boat.

Our evenings are always a special time. Our guides don their chef's gear and begin preparing a scrumptious fresh foods dinner. Using just picked vegetables and fruits from our local farms, we are able to whip up a riverside feast to satisfy the most discerning palates. Grilled salmon, marinated chicken, fresh corn on the cob, and peach cobblers are a few of the items on our rotating menu. Breakfast may include home brewed coffee, fresh cantaloupe, blueberry pancakes, home style potatoes or scrambled eggs. While in camp you can try fishing, swimming, or just sit back and watch the world flow by. The Trinity is a great family trip for we accommodate everyone of every age. Class IV Whitewater Adventures

Three Bears –South Fork of the Trinity River

The South Fork of the Trinity River is one of the regions' best-kept secrets. This free flowing tributary is only runnable from mid March to mid June making this spectacular section a true treat for those who can come. This remote class IV run will have you paddling for more as we charge over rapids such as Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Baby Bear, and don't forget Goldilocks! Keep your eyes open for Bald eagles, osprey, and the rare beaver. Includes lunch.

Butler Ledge- Cal Salmon

Homeland of the Karuk Tribe , the Cal-Salmon also is rich in early California Gold Rush history. Along the banks of the North Fork of the Salmon in the village of Sawyer's Bar the original Catholic Community Church is still standing that was erected in 1858.  Being a free flowing stream without the hindrance of a dam, the Salmon is best run in the months of May and June . Get ready for rapids such as The Gaping Mah and Dick's Ledge which will have your heart pounding and your arms paddling. Includes lunch.
